Not cheap but it does look really good.

That looks like a great find, Martin - just published last month.

I don't normally like hardbacks (too heavy, too much space) but for an atlas it's probably the best format.

I am now quite tempted myself...

As much as I'd prefer to support independent book shops, a £22 discount on a book that has been out for about a month - it has to be done. Just ordered mine.

There's a recent ECW podcast that talks to the author which is quite good. Damned if I can remember what the podcast is called. So all in all not that useful of a post really.

My copy arrived this morning. Seriously weighty volume. It's massive. Really does need an index though.

From my cursory look it doesn't appear to have anything new, just collates lots of other stuff into one volume. Surprised that the Roundway Down map is still sticking to the old location and not taking into account the archaeological evidence which would move the main battle and retreat north.

I have received my copy of the atlas. My, that was very quick time indeed. Congratulations on the turn around time. Impressive.

The battle maps are clear. The maps include clear ground scales, dispositions and surrounding features.
I don't think anyone could have produced a better book.

Ten out of ten.
Any criticism would be churlish.
Put this one down as a good buy.

My sentiments entirely about supporting the independents but I also succumbed with that much of a saving. My wife is buying it for my Christmas present , so this enabled me to buy another ECW hardback book with the saving. I do not feel too guilty about all this as during the Covid crisis I have been buying at least one book a month direct from Helion. Sometimes two when they have their 20% sale days on. Oh Ray - you've spoiled my illusion that I was avoiding the big bad tax evader...

At least they were able to provide me with a copy of Osprey's MexRev book when my Amazon copy got lost en route (presumably fell off the back of a lorry into the hands of a wargamer that's following Martin's new range with close interest...?) and then they told me they had no more in stock....
