Just as a minor project mind you.

How many different packs from other ranges (without headswaps) would be suitable for you use to create different cavalry troops that would be interchangeable between Pony Wars and Western.

Do have a browse at the ACW confederate packs. They have the appropriate weaponry and kit. You might also use the acw union in cap and swap the heads for brimmed hats?

I hope to garner some enthusiasm locally to use the Pony War rules for playing the Riel Rebellion (Canada 1885 version). 

Much to my surprise Martin you have almost all the figures (allowing for head swaps).  Such a variety of characters, weapons & uniforms & civilian dress. Lasted only for a number of months but was full of everything Pony wars seems to allow for.

Looking forward to getting my copy and reading how some of the games have gone.
