Shield transfers
« on: September 09, 2020, 11:06:16 AM »
To prepare for the day when I will paint my Vikings and Saxons, having been spurred on by Uhtred's latest adventures, I'm interested in hearing how people have finished the shields on their PP Dark Ages figures.

I think you used Little Big Man transfers for some of yours, Stewart (were these the mounted Vikings masquerading as Carolingians?). Would you mind reminding me of which version of these you went for (they're listed by manufacturer, but haven't yet seen the light and produced a PP list)?

What have other folk done?

Thanks!

Simon

Morning Simon
Better memory than me, I do remember I rang the manufacture and talked through what I wanted and the size of the shield and he advised me which ones would fit.

I know I didnít use them all so I will try and find them and let you know the sheet numbers if that helps

I used to have the tag line of 'Real men paint the shields, no matter how bad they turn out...'

It is still turn for me but I did buy some shield transfers for a greek project I want to do at some point. :)
