I think the important lesson here though is that oranges are not the only fruit.

Colonel Kilgore

Tomatoes are fruit too, Sean.

And apples go nicely with pork.

Wardy64

Also that Leeks are not only eaten in Wales.

Dai

;D

Sean Clark

Maybe not, but they probably should be... Apart from Leek and potato soup. I could eat that all day with a nice crusty roll.

Leslie BT

In the right quantity they go well in quiche also.

There is... And I'm sitting in it now! I work from here now. Imagine Heartbeat on a quiet day. That's me that is.

Big Mike

In a former life I had dealings  with the Leek and Staffs Building Society. Not sure if they are still around  or part of some bigger empire.

I think it's now known as the Leek United.

To be honest I would have said the writing on the Survey we done was more a Tangerine, and not so much Orange as it was quite pale. That is a different fruit, a lot less citrus than an orange I feel; it didn't really cut it ! (Pun intended!)
I think the survey was probably given to an outside source to create for the public(us) and putting that Tangerine colour throughout on the original creators computer I am sure it looked lovely ?
On a full HD screen, but in the real world it fell a tad short of its objective.
But that aside very useful exercise for Us all to do, never really sure if any of the results are acted upon ? Maybe someone in the know could enlighten Us ?

This is a video where Jasper from WSS talks about the survey. I'm not sure they create the survey to act upon any of the results. But what it does do is give an insight into where the hobby is currently.

WSS have ran the survey for a few years now with a core set of questions as well as more topical ones relating to worthy points of discussion at that time.

I don't think it has any impact on how I go about things, but I do find it of interest each year.

martin goddard

I always read it with interest.
It is about our hobby so will have intrinsic interest.
Mainly because I think it is one of the only surveys out there (?).

I used to attend a lot of shows and get an idea of what was going on.
However, most gaming (I think) is between 2 or 3 persons at home. That is not easy to observe.

martin :)

I am struggling to see what all the fuss about orange print was?

I have just completed the survey and didn't find any issue with anything that as orange

Sean Clark

It might impact those who are colour blind?
