Do you have a model railway station?
What period.
Do you use rail track to join it to the table edge?

I have a western one. With a water tower too. Mine tends to be a general part of the scenery, rather than being there for any particular purpose.

Interesting idea Martin...  haven't got one in gaming scale.

But i went looking online to see if I could find a picture or two of any of the Mexican ones of the period. All I found was modern or falling down abandoned.

I suspect stone or adobe construction but not much to base that on. (So probably anything goes) Now I am curious....be fun to scratch build one.

I have an old HO model I have been wanting to dress a bit to make it better.
Maybe change the doors and apply something to the walls to mask the plastic look.

I've got some Metcalfe card buildings for my 20mm WW2 gaming. For 15mm Mexico I was thinking of using the Sarissa 'El Alamein' railway station while hoping they bring out 15mm versions of some of their 28mm 'Down Mexico Way' Range - maybe a nagging campaign is in order?

I have a Russian railway station.
I might make 10 inch long plank surface to put alongside the track.
This might give it a rough and poor look?
Some piles of baggage too?
If I were to do this I would use normal flat model railway track. The moulded stuff on the berm would look too odd/high.

Just thoughts .

I had a reply from Sarissa this morning.
They plan to expand their Mexican range including the Alamo in 15mm later this year.

I have no stations, tracks, trains or wagons, and so am currently feeling rather inadequate.

I have German ones, which as a few of you will remember, I got them for the 1945/46 Factory Game.
They are 1/87th German/Polish manufacturer's stations.

The Alamo Stewart! What else?

I have the old Triang art deco style railway station and signal box. Very British in design, could be used for operation sealion games.

Best wishes,

I bought a rathered unloved French station From eBay for a couple of quid. I've made the roof removable, added an internal floor and weathered it. I'm rather pleased with it so then did the same for a German station. If you search HO/OO joblot, there are often some bargains to be had.

A picture would  be good too Simon.
