Martin,

Thank you for kicking this off.

1. I plan to attend (it's in the diary, so pending any last-minute work or domestic issues I should be there)
2: I think I'm doing a PBI game with Mike, Colin and Miles (if that's still on and they'll still have me). I will also be visiting the Peter Pig stand (if only to admire those wonderful 1:100 Pirate Ships :D)
3. I've never been: I think I'm going to enjoy it
4. I will drive
5. I'll get there for when it opens. When does it start?

I will not be able to attend this event in the coming year.

Hi All

Ben and I will be going. We are putting on our Arnhem game 'Frosts Perimeter', which will be 6x6 in 15mm.

Always enjoy this show, and from what I hear will be bigger and better than normal this year. We are planning to drive get there to set up pre opening?

Since you are in a game you can be there from 8.15am.  Do bring food. They have a cafeteria, but it sells out of sandwiches very quickly.
I shall be "allowing" photographs of the 1/100th ships alongside Dave's tram. Show stoppers I think :)

Les
You can always change your mind and fly into Bournemouth? Although I have no idea if you have a local airport? If you had a float plane you could.......... :)

Ben
Look forward to seeing that tram. I have told others of it too.

How about we put on a special game, 1/100 ships v 1/87 tram - death match.

I would like to attend but it does depend on work and family commitments.

Should know in the next week.

I'll be possibly shopping for a bargain for something I didn't know I needed until I saw it and then get home and put it in a cupboard for a couple of years to mature.

Travel and timings will depend on external factors.

You can set your game up on the Friday, before teatime.
Peter is Hiring the Whole of the BiC this year.
Our normal war gaming show is on the Saturday. There will be food upstairs as the Hotdogs stands and other things are open this year.
There will be some big war gaming competitions all weekend. So this over 2 days.
RPG  and Boardgaming is also included.
By the looks of it. Gaming will be allowed in the front Bar area for the evening as well. Also I ve heard that there now will be some war gaming on the Sunday, for those that live local etc.
Peter has spent some £17000 on hiring the BiC for the weekend.
So we shall see if this works out ?
If I find any times out about getting in etc, I will put it on here.

I hope to be there on the Saturday, probably traveling by bus as it is free for me. Main reason for going will be to see you guys and collect my latest order from Martin. Not sure what it will be yet but probably some WW2 Japanese, Greeks and Yugoslav partisans.

Crikey...£17000?!?! That's a lot of money to try and recoup.

martin goddard

Maybe stand fees will have to go up? :(

Colonel Kilgore

I dread to think what the price of a pint is going to be...

Big Mike

I really like this show, not just because it's local for me but the range of games to see, the excellent choice of hobby products from the traders and the opportunity to put on our own RFCM game. Last year it was Gold Beach, this year we are back in the winter forest with our Ardennes game. Miles and Simon will be surprising Colin and I by launching a major attack through heavily wooded and hilly terrain. Who'd have thought it!

Sean Clark

I always thought those chaps were sneaky!

I should know tomorrow whether I can do this. It sounds wonderful and I'd really like to see Dave and Ben's Arnhem game.

Is there a bring and buy do you know?
