It would be nice to be able to start sometime in April, but we may all have rather more time at home to paint if we're not allowed to go anywhere for our summer hols...

It seems as you moved from 1940 into 41...on some gliders the blue sides were also speckled with the dark green as well. In most of my books it also seems to not be all of them, prob more of an individual unit approach.

Thanks guys, I found some of those sites but a mash of all colours with no definitive scheme.
Simon I have two for your game and intend to a dark green upper with light blue sides and under wings., unless you want other colours

One thing I've particularly appreciated about this Forum is the chance to "virtually" meet and speak to people from around the globe, and share experiences of our shared hobby.

The Crete games day in (2021 remember - the September 2020 event, if it is still allowed to go ahead, is just a rehearsal for the 80th anniversary game!) has got more folk than I could have imagined involved and contributing from the UK (and Northern France), and is shaping up to be a great community effort.

One thing that I hadn't quite solved was the buildings for the towns. So imagine my delight when Bob (Antioch) got in touch to offer the services of his 3D printer - from the far-flung reaches of Canada for anything we might be needing for the game. So we looked at a catalogue of files that he'd bought, and I happened to mention the need for a girder bridge, and then Bob asked about markers... All of which resulted in Bob's kind donation to the cause of a batch of goodies that crossed the pond (fully intact) in a mere 10 days, virus notwithstanding.

So this is a big public "thank you" to Bob for his public-spirited generosity. I think I know what I'll be painting next once I've chugged through my current batch of WW1 footsloggers

Great Bob the buildings do look rather good. Simon's just got to do them with the paint job and the interiors.

I'll have to look you up when I am next in Vancouver to visit my son. He lives in the down-town area a couple of streets away from the railway station.
