Dragoons completed - drying. Despite the entire unit having had a headswap they don't beat my Scots harquebusiers. The harquebusiers are still my favourite and best.

Fraser's dragoons are complete. Everyone had a headswap. Think I need a rest from headswaps and drilling hands out, so the rest of the Covenanters can jolly well wait. Some commanded shot next. No headswaps. No grey coats.

Thanks. Why? Had enough drilling their hands out to be honest, plus you can't really go wild with the colour palette can you?

There is something very satisfying about an army sporting a single, muted colour. It makes the Covenanters look a lot more professional than their contemporaries (at least until the NMA got organised).

There is a black coated unit (Ministers' Regiment) to break up the monotony. I believe there was a red coated regiment too (not painted them, yet).
