Many thanks.
Dragoons completed - drying. Despite the entire unit having had a headswap they don't beat my Scots harquebusiers. The harquebusiers are still my favourite and best.

Radar

Fraser's dragoons are complete. Everyone had a headswap. Think I need a rest from headswaps and drilling hands out, so the rest of the Covenanters can jolly well wait. Some commanded shot next. No headswaps. No grey coats.  :)

Looking mighty fine, Radar. Another success!

However, a good headswap is remarkably satisfying.

Radar

You are right. It feels a lot more satisfying knowing you don't have to do anymore for a wee while

Radar

Last unit of Covenanters for the foreseeable future.

Colonel Kilgore

Why stop when you're on a roll...?  ;)

Leman (Andy)

That's a great looking unit.

Radar

Thanks. Why? Had enough drilling their hands out to be honest, plus you can't really go wild with the colour palette can you?

Leman (Andy)

There is something very satisfying about an army sporting a single, muted colour. It makes the Covenanters look a lot more professional than their contemporaries (at least until the NMA got organised).

Radar

There is a black coated unit (Ministers' Regiment) to break up the monotony. I believe there was a red coated regiment too (not painted them, yet).

martin goddard

Excellent
can you do a picture of all the covenanters laid out?

Radar

Thanks Martin, will do when I return from my jaunt down south (Newbury, Alton, Cheriton, Basing House, that there London and Lingfield for a musical recital by Madness) Middle of next week possibly/probably.
