Please stop posting pictures of wee ships. I have enough ECW and Napoleonics to paint without adding pirate ships to the list. So kindly stop encouraging me!

Great ships, I've assembled mine but have yet to shake a paintbrush at them!

Very nice work, Mr Wally, and thank you for sharing painting details.

Peter Pig have designed a large, abstract resin marker featuring a large clock, with 15mm on a swamped deck, superimposed.  I decided to design my own by using images downloaded.  I found a depiction of death with scythe and hourglass.  I made it double sided and then laminated it.    One side the image is shown in black, the obverse in red.  The image is turned over each new turn as the image tours the table edge, fulfilling its battle clock mission.  This allows players to remember whose turn it was last.  I find it particularly useful when playing solo games.

It is recommended that players of Pieces of Eight use toy gold coins to keep track of the wind dice, used to change direction. I decided a nice aesthetic touch would be to store these in a Treasure Chest

I picked up a toy treasure chest cheap for a couple of quid from China on Ebay. It's decorated on the outside with a map....Treasure perhaps?

That treasure chest is a nice find, Kev? Could I ask how much you had to invest in it?

anyone know where these pictures went?

Colonel Kilgore

Interesting! Well, it wasn't me that deleted them. Was it you, Sean? :)

Did the bigger boys remove them. Maybe Kev himself??

In the words of Shaggy, 'it wasn't me.'

Shame, as my painting mojo returns I have half a dozen ships to paint and I need inspiration.
