A few queries after try out.

1) A Platoon Commander is in a hammered square, can he still motivate his 2 other squares?

2) Do you have to have your foot bases in a square in order to do morale checks? Following a failed assault the attacker falls back to his starting square leaving "dead" behind. Can he only clear those casualties when he gets foot bases back into that square?

3)Mortars are attached to a platoon, do they self motivate for AP like tanks OR do they motivate when PC motivates the square they are in?

Thanks

Good questions

1. yes he can motivate up to 3 squares if his own is hammered.
2.Morale takes no account of WHERE the casualties are , just that they exist somewhere in the table.
3. casualties can only be cleared by any own troop susing 2AP and being in the same square. casualties left in an opponent square cannot be removed by either player.
4.Morars need to be motivated by PC. Often they are best put in a square together that is motivated by the PC specifically for the purpose of shooting.

hope that helps

So, just to be clear a PC in a hammered square can still motivate 3 squares but not the hammered one he is in?
