Thanks guys for your kind words.

@Leslie, I'm hoping Michael Perry may release one, however, my project is for Isandlawana.

I've had to re-order my entire modern collection (ALL Peter Pig) and Vietnam collection (all Flashpoint) after the figures all went missing a couple of moves ago.

If anyone's interested, this is the long and short of what happened (re-posted from FOF) and it was quite tragic.

QuoteI've moved alot over the years and in the past 10, I've moved more times than I care to admit. That said, I've been in my current place for over 3 years now and it feels more like home than many places I've been. When I finally settled in and decided I would get back into gaming, I took stock of the stuff that was in boxes I'd been lugging around over the years since splitting with my ex, and realized that ALL of my painted 15mm miniatures had disappeared with no explanation. All my Flashpoint US and VC figures, all my Peter Pig US Modern and Insurgent forces...... gone.

I usually keep very good track of my stuff, so I'm unsure how these could have went missing. The only saving grace was all my 15mm choppers and flight stands for both Nam and moderns were found. I'm more upset about the figures because painting 15mm was a right pain in the ass and I was happy I'd slogged through enough painting to have 2 full collections.

Everytime I see my vast collection of 15mm middle east buildings (painted) I think...... oh man.... to get to use those, I need to paint a crap load of minis. I have since bought back all the Peter Pig mini codes I'm missing, as well as jimmi helping me out with some Flashpoint packs, but geez.... so much painting to do to get my 15's back where they were. Needless to say, due to all the effort required, that project is waaaaaaay on the back burner for now.

No longer on the back burner, but a steep hill to climb. Thanks for listening.  :)

This isn't quite news about Wargames models itself :
But my Quest/Saga has come to an End, To have a modelling workshop and Wargames area.
I now have a fully functional Wargames cabin, with electricity and lights and Tables now. It's been a slog as an electrician that was going to put in the wiring kept letting me down, "I will be there next weekend" I didn't realise people can be so flippant about £600 plus worth of work ? So I found another one with a good reputation and he has been here the past few evenings this week and done it. finally...
So those that live down and along on the South coast of the UK I can now offer a Wargames venue in my back garden that's well lit and ventilated with plenty of table space to play and set up( up to 12ft x 4 ft or 9ft x 6 ft or 6ft x 5 ft or 6x 4 ft which ever we need ? )
As and when the current rules and regulations allows us to.

Crikey Todd.
The best way to find something is to get a new one and then it suddenly appears.
Keep buying PP stuff and other men will admire you. I think James Bond and jack Reacher both have a lot of PP figures (?)

That's excellent news, Miles.

What brands of ale are you serving?

Excellent! Do you yet have those 2m-spaced social distancing spots up your lawn for all those queuing to join in?

Currently finishing up my SCW buildings. Had them a long time, and the castings are quite bad, but having tried and failed to find the enthusiasm previously, with my new found motivation, I'm cracking on.

As Martin did with his, I'm adding bits of interest to each base. A dog here. A water trough there. I've just ordered a few extra bits and pieces for added interest. I'll post some pictures when done.

Coincidentally, I spent the weekend on scenics too - scratchbuilding some livestock water troughs and ranch railings out of balsa and matchsticks for my MexRev Ranches/Haciendas...
I like the idea of adding some animals and livestock for extra interest... maybe I need to put some longhorns on my shopping list!

Mine are from SHQ. The molds must be really old as the detail isn't great, and there are some bubbles here and there. But Martin made such a great job of his, I couldn't resist.

They're all painted now and Im as happy as I can be with them. Just need to base them with some odds and ends then I'll post up some pictures.
