Waiting for the armoured car to arrive.
Painting Mexican American war 1846 generals, a unit of US infantry, a unit of Mexican infantry, 4 US gun crews, some 18th century civilians, some Napoleonic Spanish infantry in top hats, and a M8 Armoured car.

I've got four regiments of foot (3 trained band regiments so no uniform colours at all) sat finished on painting strips. Just need their bases, and flags to be delivered (I know that the flags are en route), sadly the bases are waiting in limbo as Warbases are shut.

For some reason I have just ordered even more cavalry, when complete this will give King and Parliament 320 each. Which must surely be enough. (650 foot, 320 cavalry, 63 dragoons,  4 light guns, 3 medium guns, and 2 heavy guns, 14 commander types apiece - surely that means I'm finished?*)

Think I might be getting the hang of the lighting in the kitchen for painting - 11am-2pm is optimal light (old house, piddly windows, east facing aspect, not enough spot lights).

* err, no. There's Montrose's Scots and Irish still to have a go at

Les, what are you planning with those Mex American war stuff. A big skirmish society event?

Had the figures for many years, so time to get them painted. Probably play Sharpe Practise with them with Ralph as an opponent.

And take them for a game or two at club in Carantan.

The same for the Peninsula Spanish as well.

Have several others as well, Maximillian in Mexico (28mm), Prussians for 7YW (28mm), the figures have been collected over the last 25 years as retirement projects, just taking time getting to retirement with all the work needed by Louise at her bar / resturant.

3000 or so 6mm MDF ACW figures for a refight of Gettysburg.
A 15mm FRench Napoleonic Dragoon unit and a few 28mm Numidian cavalry.

Just got a couple of the Lanchester ACs, so they are next on the list to paint up.

Waiting on the armoured cars, in the mean time 28mm Romans.

Here's the output for June.  Kornilov Shock Regiment/Battalion, depending on rules in use. I've used some late war French with head swaps amongst the Russians. A good enough table top standard for my liking.

My workbench/painting desk has a small number of 28 mm Honved Infantry.

My last work was a General Bem vignette.

Wow, they're nice, Helen!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you'll do in 15mm. Do please post picture of your MexRev figures when they start coming off the production line!

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

The last time I painted 15mm was for the Chaco Wars.

I'm looking forward to painting this Mex Rev range.

Thanks.
