I've also just taken advantage of the 50% off sale at Plastic Soldier Company and bought their Battle of Britain board game plus a bag of 120 1/300th WW2 aircraft  for £6.50. That's just over 4p a plane including Dornier, Heinkals and Spitfire. No 109's though.

I saw that they had heavily discounted this at Warfare. It made me very pleased I'd bought into the Kickstarter, and then couldn't get my head around the rules...

Currently working on preparing half bases and casualty bases for Bloody Barons 2. For half bases I have gone entirely   with archers to start with, although i will have to prepare some cavalry ones at some stage. Plans are afoot in the club to play Kingmaker using BB2 for the battles.

I've watched a couple of play throughs on YouTube so hoping that will help.

I've had the original game and the PSC upgrade. It's an enjoyable game.

Busy sorting out and re basing for French and Indian wars. I seem to have a number of figures, a local village has asked the club to put on a 'french' battle in the form of a war game.

And also sorting out my Peninsula war Napoleonic, British, Spanish, Portuguese, French.

I have finally got around to prime some scratch built buildings.
I hope to have them painted this week.
Also started painting the PP Vickers plus crew you can see in the background.

That's a good idea. I felt there was a good game in there somewhere, but I couldn't quite reach it.

Lluis of Minairons

I've been quite busy lately, building from a start an entire 15mm Ottoman army for a planned 1714-1718 Ottoman-Venetian war.

As my 2019 purchases budget is very narrow, I've taken advantage of as many figures as I've been able to pick up from my unpainted lead mountain to start (whatever the actual relationship to the Ottomans) - mainly using these for building irregular units, such the following couple of Azab warbands:

When going for cavalry or regular foot, then I've certainly used specifical figures such as those from Legio Heroica (IT) - in the Sipahis case below, the unit was completed with some PP Fantasy non-arabs:

Or using a mix from Legio Heroica and Wargamer.pl (PL), like in this provincial regular infantry, or Tüfekçi regiment:

I don't know how, I've even found a little time to start a long awaiting project, that of refurbishing my ACW Confederate army, with a first regiment retouched up and rebased:

All these and a couple else in the last couple of months (I've become quite productive lately!  ;D)
Some photo reviews in my blog: https://soldadets.blogspot.com/ (Catalan language there mainly, sorry!)

They look great Lluis, and the flags add a whole extra dimension - thanks for sharing!

Just painted the Vapnartak freebie 28mm Viking berserker. Don't worry, haven't gone over to the dark side. It was an exercise in becoming better at painting. It was surprisingly enjoyable, mainly because I could see the blooming thing! I was playing with different washes, dry brushing, layering and highlighting. Didn't come out too shoddy. The next Regiment of Foot might come out slightly differently as a result.

Problems arose because I was finishing off some 15mm harquebusiers. Switching between the two was slightly taxing both on the eyes and the brain.

Jolly nice. Keep 'em coming Lluis. :)

I am doing a "Confederates" based Western force. As over the years I collected many different companies 15mm figures, some being for Confederates specifically. As I mainly do Union, I sort of had them spare. So mainly to use up my "odd" figures I thought to get a force out there. My Cavalry will look the oddest of all. But it's a force I can use, that's all that matters.
