Many thanks to Martin and Stewart for 3 very enjoyable Western playtest games yesterday.

3 quite different games but all with the same result: a crushing win for the defenders!

Game 1 saw a band of Mexicans defending against hordes of Apaches.

Good photos Simon.
I think we had some good games. The rules are not done yet but the overall structure seems fine??
The mat is Stewart's  special western tiny mats.

Game 2 was Mexicans again: this time attacking Gunmen.

We decided to try out the railroad: this didn't have any direct impact on the game other than increasing the number of defence squares (buildings adjacent to the tracks) and removing the defenders' 8 pieces of partial cover. This gave a somewhat sparsely-populated table, but the

Thanks for coming down Simon, glad you enjoyed the games. Great pictures.

Very good photos Simon. Very "modern" this photography thing. I think photos like this would look good in the rulebook. Maybe in a colour section dediucated to games in play with narrative???

May i link this to TMP for discussion?

Colonel Kilgore

Martin: please feel free to link to TMP - nothing secret here!

And if you wanted any of these pictures in hi-res for the PP website, I can email you the original files [they get downsized when I use Tinypic - the clue's in the name!].
