Agree test base looks very good, when are you planning a game?

Colonel Kilgore

Very nice - that is a good start to the New Year!

Talk through your painting style, always good to hear how other painters work.

Great work!
If only I had not invested heavily in 28mm SCW....

Thanks for the interest Wardy64 , first of all I undercoat everything with Games Workshop white paint . Next I paint all figures with a thinned down wash 3/1 water to paint of coat d'arms Olive all over trying to avoid  the shoes and beret . This gives a nice highlight to the figures ,very easily . Next paint in equipment , flesh and rifles etc in various GW paints and  the berets in Vallejo red and GWflash gits yellow . Finally I wash the figures in GW agrax earth shade wash and the base in seraphim sepia 2/1 water to paint . The theory behind doing it like this is that I think it gives the best result for the least effort . Hope this has been of some interest , cheers Alex

Alex,
That's very interesting, thank you.
And very effective.
What with the "washing" that both you and Mr Lurkio are using with such great effect, it may well be the way to go for many more of us!

Wardy64

Hi Alex
Its very effective, always like washing that comes out well.

Great job
