Opportunity Fire

Hi There

Does the defender get  opportunity fire against  assaulters entering a facing square before the assaulters enter the target square?

Also I assume opportunity fire only applies to the facing squares in proximity range and does not extend to the firing weapons effective range?

Correct on both

1.Anyone moving in to your face gets shot at no matter what they subsequently do.
2.Oportunity is only a single square on each of the four faces
