At the risk of asking the bleeding obvious:

1) Is terrain 1 square or 2 squares?
2) If one attempts to translate a  hit into kill or mobility hit does that mean they  give up the "normal" damage?
3) Will there be a PP figure range alongside the rules?

Good questions Ian

1. All templates will be 2 squares.
2. The translation is a risk. If it pays off there is a benefit, albeit the hit has gone. If the risk does not pay off then the original hit is lost.
3.There will be a small range of figures....I think.

A base  has one figure if Praetorian, two if Legionary, and three if Auxiliary?

You are right Ian.
Those are only working suggestions though.
It helps give the impression of quality and quantity.  Helps instant recognition.  Players could of course use different colours or base sizes instead..

In these early stages there still might be big changes.

Some things are a bit fixed due to practicalities of money and practicality for prospective players.

5x3 tables. They can use a normal game cloth
Gridded. As are all the RFCM current projects.
2 square templates. Many of use have them already.
Any lots of options for scenery.
