CK battle day report

A very good day of gaming CK.

Derek used Nubians.
John used Parthians.
Alan used Scythians.
Ben used Gauls.
Eric used Egyptians
martin used Carolingians.

6 games were played overall.
The horse armies won more games than the foot armies.
I am not sure it means that horse armies are intrinsically better. In addition, so few games are not a good measure.

There were few rule queries and most seemed conversant.

I had a  couple of "11 hits fights, which helped the Carolingians.

The shop also had a card game tournament and some sci fi stuff going on.  A good mix.

I liked the fact that everyone understood the rules enough .

I wish I could've been there. But I managed to re base a lot of my AK47 figures to suit the newer rules.
I ve decided if I use my "newer" bases for the older rules ? Then mark up the RPG bases with post it's! I think that makes things a lot easier?
Also it did give me an opportunity to go and see a good friend of mine in Hospital yesterday, so that cheered both of us up.
