In the heart of Liverpool City Centre since 1971. Now in our fourth premises located in the basement of Imperial Buildings. Access is from Davies Street, off Dale Street (opposite Tesco). We have a Facebook page and a web site. If you want to find out what is going on pop down on a Thursday evening or a Sunday afternoon and you will be most welcome. We play historical games, Sci-fi, Fantasy, boardgames and roleplaying games. We have our own premises and so games can be left up. The club has a large number of club armies and terrain items, and members can store their own armies there. First four visits are free, thereafter you may wish to join as a member  (£26 pcm for waged, £15 pcm unwaged) or simply pay guest fee per visit of £6.

I think it only fair to point out that now I live in the Netherlands I am no longer a member of the LWA. As such I will not be able to update information on the club. Apologies for any inconvenience.

See below for an update 26/11/23

Congratulations on finally making the move, Andy!

I hope you can find folk to play with over there once things return to normal.

I am still in touch with folk at LWA and it is thriving, probably because it has its own premises, scenic items, mats and club armies (about a year before I left I had a great SB game using the club's WWI Russian and Turkish armies)
