Just a short note about the major differences.   AK 47 is available as an older "classic " version (pdf only) and a newer  version (print only).
Both editions treat a collection of bases/models as a unit. The unit stays together and dies together.
In the classic edition there are 5 army choices. In the newer edition there are 20 choices.  the new edition armies are freely downloadable from the internet.

Classic is fought on a 6x4 table. Newer version is played on a 6x3 table size.

I really need to find time to slot it into the club, although I suspect the chassis will be used for an AVBCW campaign, crackingly adaptable set of rules.

Speaking of which, is there interest if I try to remember what I bodged up for French-IndoChina on the previous forums?
