British average at 350 points attacking German average (400 points).
British +4 to each asset value. 6D6 for reinforcements.

In effect the 350 points caused the British to only have 4 units. This dropped a support platoon.
The extra asset points made only a small difference as the British had good asset values anyway. The 6D6 reinforcements was very useful/good.

Needs more testing to see if it should be  added to PBI.

A very good game. 40 point victory for the defending Germans.
The two British Shermans died defending an objective at the game end.
The two German panthers rolled so badly they did not get into action in time for the game end.

I would have expected the smaller force to lose if it was the attacker. Historically that would be more usual.

But with the more rapid reinforcements the British could presumably have been more numerous on the table than the Germans at a given point?

Yes, the initial force size was bigger for the British attacker.
The 350 will get some more testing.

Although force size is very important it is often more important to have control over the point of attack. This is true because the attacker deploys second.

A bit more play testing to be done on this.
