There are a lot of iconic WW2 (air, sea land)pictures

Here is my nomination for one of the top fifty. To be iconic i suggest that it should be familiar to most group members.  Therefore really subjective!

This is one for me taken on Arnhem bridge. WW2 has never been a particular favourite period of mine but certain aspects of it continue to fascinate. 'A Bridge Too Far' was one of the first books I read following seeing the film.

I remember back in the day an Arnhem themed PBI day where each table was a bridge that XXX had to cross to reach the final table where the paras were holding on. Looked like great fun.
