If that is TankFest then no I'm not going this year. According to Dave the organisers have moved all traders outside so Dave won't risk damage to his stock outside understandably. Also the cost of a stand as a result has tripled making the whole venture non cost effective.

They have been threatening to move the inside traders for a couple of years now so it is no great surprise. They say that we block the view of the public from the exhibits, which has a little merit. They don't seem to grasp that books are vulnerable to any excess of weather, be heat, cold or wet. The increase in rent smacks of greed. I don't know what Peter from Entoyment has paid in the past as he has always been outside. It will be interesting to hear if any other traders drop out.

I know he used to do the Wargames show as well as Colonel Bill, but I don't recall seeing Andy trading at TankFest or the Tiger Days.

I think John is right, I ve only every seen Dave L and Colonel Bill there in the years I ve been, as well as Peter. There have been some Model shops (2) there, which I assume usually do the Model shows there ?

In the early years most of the show was outside.

Tankfest and Tiger Days are very expensive to be at these days.  Any shows at Bovi used to be a good oppertunity to visit the show and the museum.

I think the best thing to do is become a Gold Friend of the Museum for £72.50. That gets you free entry to the museum for a year including special events.
