This is the last(?) in the  "last Kingdom" viking series.
It was a film presentation.

The budget allowed some great battle scenes.

I would highly recommend it as I really enjoyed it. you will need Netflix or similar  to see it though

It was indeed a good watch, and I think the ending lets you know whether Uhtred will be back or not. I was pleased they plumped for my birthplace as the site of the battle of Brunanburh.

Yep, well worth the watch, especially if you have watched all the previous series. Even the wife enjoyed it (which is a big thing).... perhaps it was thoughts of UTRED!
