Thanks Shane and Martin for the results.

I for one would happily play this scenario again. I might even get some ships painted for next time!

Here are some more pictures of our day.

The troop ship points  were not significant in the results.
Their importance might need increasing next time?

All good gmaing though

Great fun with a great crowd of chums!   The ships looked fantastic.  Special mention to the scratch builds Miles has produced - beautiful.

But beware Martin's black dice - sank our best ironclad first shot!

Yesterday was a great day, even if the Union lost. But what was table 3 doing on the second game ????? We on table 2 laid our ships to all that fire so the transports could run through relatively un affected....

Just a quick note.
Your follow the link. Lovely gets some you to the page:
Battle days 2023.
Great.
Then typo error: first line " these are the battle days 2022"
Just thought I d point it out ?

But to note now I ve done the corresponding battle day information on the Facebook site, people can't complain that they were not aware of these things if they look and use the internet!

Good point about Table 3 in the afternoon, Miles (even if we scored a few more points than you had done in the morning  ;)).

John and I had a cunning plan. It was perhaps not cunning enough, and was arguably poorly executed. But I for one learned a lot and we will sink Admiral Stewart next time around!

Did anyone come across 2 packets of Brass Rods, Revell glue in a blue container/yellow top and some green stuff filler ?
I bought them from the shop
I thought I d put them away in my bag ? But maybe I put them somewhere else ?

Hello Miles
We all did a thorough check of the tables and under them too.
The shop will probably have picked it up and know it was you?

I found them. Under one of my sheets I had in a box.
