Reasons to tie a knot in your ROF hankie

Things I forgot.
I have read the rules again and feel the following points  were badly  or not remembered by me. :-[

1. Baggage raiding  = D6 per half base. 4,5,6=success.
2. Death rolls,  Foot save on 5,6. Horse save on 4,5,6. Veterans re-roll. No change for conscript.
3. If units enter a square with an imposed morale result they stop then and there.
4. New generals or arriving generals are placed with an existing general This happens the end of the turn in which the general was removed. This means a general that gets killed in the opponent turn will only turn up at the end of the next own turn.
5.Armoured can can only claim the 2,3,4,5,6 once per turn whether from shooting or fighting. eg. if used to save against being shot it cannot be used again for a fight. Therefore, keep it for the fight??
6. Cavalry coming from or fighting into bad scenery only get 1D6 in a fight.
7. Units on a hill square are not penalised if they assault another hill square, even if that hill is a separate template.
8. A killed general creates 2 casualty markers.
9. Dead guns create 1 casualty marker.
10.Defender should place any road or stream as his first placed piece.
11. Nudging moves a scenery piece by 1 square or rotates it.

I agree Stewart. I think we assume that the rules sets are the same.
I will probably add these reminders to the pdf version of ROF

I have similar lists tucked into the front of most of my rules!

Very useful when returning to a set After a while.
