African acacia trees

Here are some pictures of my new acacia trees.
They are moulting a lot!
I think they look great.
The wire armature allows me to bend them  into that flat top shapes.

They do look great. I find the cheapest hairspray I can in a place like B and M...whichever says it's extra hold or similar. Works well.

Not bad at all, Martin... they look great. My 2 wire ones are still on the workbench. I'll look out for cheap extra hold hairspray on my travels. That's a good hack, Sean.

I am sure I have some spare hairspray.
The stickiest thing I have experience with is yoghurt pots at the bottom of the recycling bucket. Difficult to move.

I've purchased some of these. On their way from China.

They do arrive mashed up but the wire allows re animation.
I would be keen to see how you get on with them.

Because they are wire, you might untwist the bottom part to make an adhesion point?
Instead I used washers with a blob of milliput. I squished the trunk through the washer hole and smeared it around.   It has worked well.
