How many casualty bases?

In your collective experience, how many casualty markers should I be making for a 1000pt force?

hi Brent for which game?
If morale is by the Platoon, unit i normal have about 8 per unit.
if morale is by the square and cleared each turn then about 16 per side (i tend to do build  both sides for a  game)

That´s correct. I assumed that BAW was the default ruleset being discussed in this area.

Your understanding is correct - we're supposed to be discussing BAW under the BAW heading!
