That's exactly what I'm proposing using them for, wrangling the likely changing allegiances of Villistas, Orozquistas, Rancheros, Banditos, foreign Mercs, Tarahumara Indians, and Haciendados...

Flowcharts also give a better clue that "this is going to be mind numbingly difficult and tedious" than a wall of text.
Generally if you have more than nine boxes, It's a "Shall I but another Ukulele" meme, or your rules are too difficult.


The precise number varies a bit with frequency of use.
If it's something you use every campaign month, knock yourself out.
If it's a test to be performed before every move or shoot, make sure it's simple.
