What are their rough equivalents today?

Some are guessable and others deceptive.

1 . Roman Galliae comprised all of modern France (besides of Belgium, Netherlands and parts of Germany).
2 . Roman Dalmatia could be compared to former Yugoslavia.
3 . Roman Noricum can be equalled to modern Austria, although in fact it comprises barts of both Austria and Bavaria.
4 . Roman Raetia can't be compared to any modern country - it extended along some parts of Northern Italy, Tyrol (Austria) and perhaps parts of Bavaria too.
5 . Roman Pannonia can be roughly compared to modern Hungary.
6 . Roman Galatia is a part of modern Turkey.
7 . Roman Lugdunensis is a part of modern France.
8 . Roman Cappadocia is another part of modern Turkey.
9 . Roman Judea can be equalled to Palestine under British protectorate, or modern Israel + Palestine.
10 . Roman Lycia - yet another part of modern Turkey!
11 . Roman Hispaniae are modern Spain + Portugal (+ Andorra + Gibraltar + Catalonia + so and so...  )
12 . Roman Aegyptus. Is it perhaps Egypt? 
13 . Roman Hibernia is the whole of Ireland.
14 . Roman Thracia sits mostly on modern Bulgaria.
15 . Roman Dacia is the core of modern Romania.

A good working knowledge of the adventures of Asterix and Obelix would net you a solid 11.. Who says Goscinny and Uderzo wrote fiction? Their legionary tunics look brilliant, so much better than the red everyone paints their miniatures. If I had Caesar's Imperial army they'd have green tunics with black edging. They would of course face off against Gauls who would be indomitable.
