Excellent write up Martin. Suitable advice being given on that mug of tea too.

Great report.
All my markers are now painted and based, enough for two armies.

Colonel Kilgore

Great photos, report and overview of the new version of the game. Well done all!

This also provides info on what I need to paint...Considering I'll do DBX/ADLG bases 'a lot' seems appropriate for 2 sides. :)

That will be a project for the later half of the year as I'm still working on my Vikings/Dark Ages/Longship project.

You can use any amount of bases per unit so long as there are 8 increments of death.

1. Could use 8 bases and lose a base for each casualty inflicted. Need about 120 bases per player.
2. Use 4 bases and die by the half. Need about 48 bases per player
3. Use 2 bases and rotate each by 90' when a casualty received. Need 24 bases per player.
4. Use 1 base and a D6 behind. When the die loses its last point the unit disintegrates. Need 12 bases per player.

This means the game can be played with 14 bases a  side using zones of 4" by 3" depth.
Table size would then be 16" by 12". Minimalism! :)
I might put together an example of this minimalism for interest.

Also enjoyed the write up. Haven't seen the rules before...looks like a lot of fun.

Leman (Andy)

Thanks, I have added that to my WOR file.
