Splitting Machine gun platoons.

Is it possible to 'assign' machine guns from MG platoons to Infantry platoons? That is, can you split up the MG platoon and parcel out the MGs to infantry platoons where they would then be under the command of those infantry platoon leaders?

No, the MG platoon comes on with its own Platoon ldr.
