You'd have to go via France. They currently have more cases than we do...

I'm sneaking in under the channel.  You Brits are going to regret building that tunnel.

You won't get through, it is where the UK Government has stored the countries emergency supply of Roast Beef!

After being a smarty pants I'm afraid to say we are cancelling our trip to France and England.

Australia is about to ban travel from Europe.  Anyone coming in to Australia has to go into quarantine for 14 days.

All this means our travel insurance is now void.

I'm really sad I'm going to miss Salute.  I was really looking forward to it.  I've also blown $3000 on flights.  Qatar airways will give us a voucher to The same value to be used within 12 months.

That is a crying shame - very sorry to hear that.

I've heard of at least one big trade fair that has been switched from physical to virtual. Maybe Salute will be online this year?

The Photography show at Birmingham NEC, a week long show which was supposed to kick off in a couple of weeks has been postponed. Slightly different circumstances as a high number of foreign exhibitors.

So things are beginning to shut down/change

On the plus side, my wallet has breathed a sigh of relief

They have cancelled public attending football matches here.  And they cancelled the local marathon as well.

Apparently London Excel is being considered as a potential field hospital to treat Covid-19 patients...

Lots of changes going on...there is in some areas an emergency  plea going around for 3d printing parts for medical face shields...

Some provinces here even starting to ask for all non emergency travel between cities & provinces be halted.

UK has now effectively gone into lockdown. Wherever possible stay home for three weeks, schools effectively closed until September. All non-essential shops closed, no public gatherings, apart from family only funerals, and so on.
