I will all ways remember no mater how warm he all ways wore at least two shirts (T shirt + collared shirt) , temp below 20C and he added a jumper and some times a coat.
Even when he went to Historicon in the States two shirts was the minimum.

So saddened by this.

Rib was such a pleasant person to speak to. I experienced his demos over the years before I became involved in the play testing and started to visit Weymouth regularly.

We faced each other many times across the table over the years and he was always a gentleman. He played in my Somme game with a streaming cold but maintained his humour and grace.

He was the only person I knew who could roll worse than me.

RIP Rob.

This is very sad news and may I add my sincere condolences to his family and all those who knew Rob. I remember Rob as a good, honest man who served his community well, both through his work in Town Planning and his love of the natural world. When a teenager went missing in Swanage, Rob was quick to join the volunteer search parties who scoured the countryside on a wet and blustery night. He was an able wargame opponent who could be relied upon to know his stuff, both in terms of the rules and the history.  A noble man who will be sadly missed.
