I see that Warlord are following Peter Pig's lead with their forthcoming Black Seas (I guess they couldn't use "Black Sails...) release: https://store.warlordgames.com/collections/black-seas

Their ships look quite nice, even if a different scale and period to Peter Pig's.

Probable work very well with martin cloth and rules.

I think their ships cold use PP broadside markers?  Maybe someone could put the next to each other?

I ve just bought a load of old Airfix series one sailing ships to make part of a fleet for the POE sea game. Most of seem to be 1/500 th scale give or take. I know the Mary Rose is 1/400th.
Also bought the Great Western and Cutty Sark to be target ships for Hammering Iron.

Where do you source these old kits, Miles - is it scouring Ebay?

That Mary Rose model is so much better than the rest of the series. Probably due to it being much much newer??

Original series 1 = 1969+
Mary Rose = 2006?

Sir Richard Grenville (Flores in the Azores) is a real hero with his Revenge. Great  Airfix kit.

Mainly eBay. Paying about £7-8 on average.
