whilst considering BB I was wondering what others makers provide for WOTR.
If i could find the WSS WOTR special, that would help.

Here is what i know , but there must be more.
someone must do something in 5mm.
Someone must do something in 10mm.
15mm Perrys did some, minifigs of course.
20mm. Must be something. Italeri
25+mm  Minifigs. Perry plastics. Old Glory?
40mm  anyone?
54mm plenty of collector figures but no so many wargamable ranges. Think Hobby bunker has a range.

This is a "chat" topic and not intended to help me buy anything that PP does not already do.

That is good news Simon.  I can put out a conversion for 5mm and 10mm  in BB. Be silly to do it of nothing suitable was available.
It would be great to have 5000 little 5mm figures on a tabletop.

Essex do some in 15mm too. They seem to have missed the WSS publication deadline, though...

for which we should all be grateful ! ::)

Someone did Towton in 6mm using Baccus using 20,000 plus figures. Looked great but not sure it made such a great game.

They look a little stilted and dated compared with those of our favourite 15mm purveyor...

Those 6mm WOTR look exceptional. Would like to use them.

gosh...loads.
5/6mm H&R, Irregular, Baccus
10mm Pendraken, Kallistra, Old Glory and a few from Irregular
15mm, Essex, Minifigs, QRF/LKM, Irregular, Lancashire, Gladiator, Roundway, Feudal, Donnington  and Khurasan -a while ago both Foundry and Front rank had some as well.
20mm Red Box (plastic), Irregular, Tumbling dice
25/8mm Loads really.... Front Rank, Old glory, Perry, Foundry, Minifigs, Warrior, Irregular etc, etc.

some bods down in Dorset do some rather good 15mm as well.

In 20mm plastic along with the aforementioned redbox there are Zvezda , Strelets  and Caesar Miniatures . Check out plastic soldier review if you are interested cheers Alex M

Some of my BB army has Essex figures combined. The only good thing about them, they give a slightly different height on some of the bases.

I have been doing 15mm WOTR since the 80s. At this stage of the game my favourites by a country mile are PP and Donnington 'New Age' (?) figures. Donnington also do some remarkable extras like camp scenes, tents, a tournament set (joust), personalities (Margaret of Anjou in 15mm) and some excellent flag sheets.

Pendraken do the best 10mm figures. It should be noted that the Kallistra range is 12mm and does not work particularly well with Pendraken, but does work with some of the Magister Militum codes.

In 28mm I wouldn't bother looking anywhere other than Perry's. The range and versatility, particularly the plastics with a range of additional metal heads, coupled with the personality figures, artillery and extras like wagons, priests etc. means that a very individual looking 28mm army can be put together from one source.

Both Baccus and Heroics and Ros do very nice 6mm figures, but they are not really compatible with one another. Irregular are also a nice looking range (more compatible with H+R) but come ready based, which does not suit some gamers.

Thank you for the input. I will put them all together when the rules are progressed to final stages. Thanks
