Further gaming days at Entoyment.

Having had such a splendid time at Entoyment playing PBI and looking like I'm missing CWB and the weekender, I thought I would take matters into my own hands and suggest either  Viking day or ECW day at Entoyment.

I would look to do it at the end of January or beginning of February and arrange it selfishly around my shift patterns. But if people could state preference and availability that would be great.

I think 6 players would be the aim but more would be great. I will contact Pete at Entoyment to check their availability too but think it should be ok.

Whichever we do, my plan would be to split into two teams with a game in the morning and a game in the afternoon. Teams would be either Saxons and Vikings or Cavaliers and Roundheads.

I'm sure between us we would have plenty of spare armies to share around for those without one.

Thoughts, ideas or suggestions welcome.

How about doing dark ages and using it as part of a campaign??  Sorry if this hi-jacks the intent.

Maybe an issue with a date....Stewarts Beachhead assault is looking like the end of January beginning of February. The Beachhead show is on 16th February. Maybe look at end of February beginning of March??

Well when ever the event is i am in. I would have to burrow an army for either. My Preference would be ECW and Roundheads please. One day i will have chance to start my awaiting Army, just too much WW2, Westerns And Pirates going on at the moment.
Who is An ECW "expert" amoung us ? As i want to paint my Army as a "New Model Army" but not 100% on painting details

Sean, I sugest you issue 2 days that fit you. Then get folk to shout them down and the one that stands is it. Better let Entoyment know. But i expect they have few bookings for that period at present (?).
For interest, York show 3rd Feb, Bournemouth Beachhead 16th feb 2019. 16th Jan is my car's MOT. 22nd Feb hospital appointment.
You are of course expected to stay at PPHQ.

I am no expert and others will no doubt weigh in. Most sources will sat that the Foote were clothed in red coats. However on campaign I imagine that as with any army they would start to look rather bedraggled and colours would fade once it started to rain etc.

Miles, good choice of ECW Army. Well disciplined, good officers, just a can of red spray paint needed!
