Rules Question

I have started painting up forces for this ruleset and thus over the Xmas break been reading the rules. So a couple of basic questions.

1) Am I correct that attacker checks for extending the game at the end of the defenders 8th and subsequent turns? So it's at the end of defenders turn but the attacker chooses whether to make the roll - and does the roll.

2) If a morale check is required I assume there a minimum of a single D6 check roll. i.e. it can not be reduced to no dice? This also means if shot at by art a group will have at least a 1D morale save to make.

I may have more questions later but thats it for now.

1. Yes...always the attackers decision.

2. I don't have the rules to hand, but if the number of dice is reduced to zero then there is no test.
