When playing PBI do you rotate the tank turrets on your models?

Colonel Kilgore

No. For two reasons:

1) if they could turn, they'd probably fall off and hurt themselves, so I glue mine on
2) I prefer playing with my StuGs, which don't have turrets  :)

Sean Clark

Yes on the tanks I have with loose turrets. In fact I've done this today (playing AK47 though!)

My new Utalians have the turrets glued down to save on damage.

John Watson

Mostly no. I stick a lot of them down.

A turret teasingly turned to the side can look really good.
My Panthers look very menacing when the gun length can be seen overhanging the hull side.

Colonel Kilgore

Totally agree, Martin.

But they can also be glued in such a position  ;)

Magnets are your friends...

Agreed for plastics, Mike.

A bit trickier with the PP metal models.

I try to do almost any tank. Resin and plastic are easier, but metal can be done. I don't worry about big tanks like (Tiger) but on little tanks it's helpful. I've been gaming WWII for 30 years so I have a good mix plastic, metal and resin.

Magnets would,d work on PP models ? If you Green stuff the hole. Make sure one magnet is in there ? Cut the Turkey
T spindle the same height of the turret, the in full with Green stuff and magnet. Make sure you have the "poles" the correct way to each other ? You might need an Adult for this bit ? Hey presto !
