Hello!

Here are some pictures of our last WA game at our wargaming club (Les loups du téméraire, in Nancy - France)
We played a short game Late War North, with only 400 points deducting 1 general to each army
Battlefield is 6 x 4 inches, setting terrain rules are not used. No other changes.

The colonial tyran deploys!...raw torries on the left wing, 2 average line regiments with a field gun on the centre, veteran rangers on the right..

Free Americans response...(all average)
The left wing: virginian militia deploying in the swamps, 1st Maryland on the rush....

The centre: 2nd New Hampshire screened by the Delaware Militia, and the 4th light Dragoons looking opportunities...

The 6th Maryland left alone on the right wing

Battle starts...

Hampered by logistic issues, the british line of battle stay still...being nonetheless busy on recovering from disorder and low ammo.

The americans get the center of the battlefields first, under fire of the british gun, but anyway...all is going well as planned by the americans!!

But things turn bad at the very moment when the americans should take full advantage of their manoeuver...

....every unit of the armerican army get only 1 pittyful AP!!!

6th Maryland is unable to reach the far edge of the farm, 1st Maryland neither manage to reach the field's one..

At this point the (amercican) photographer is so disappointed, that he refused to do his job any longer...
The veteran light infantry of the american reserve should have been decisives if not too late on the battlefield

The two companies of the 4th light dragoon should have slaughtered the british field gun.. if they didn't tried unscessfully to charge from behind the 3 surviving but fearsome companies of rangers, that manage thereafter to blow the 6th Maryland off the farm! (very very very bad result on falter test!)

The game was tactical and fun, as usual..having a nice "dice break" before getting back to our paintbrushes for more units and scenery!
