The ambulance idea was amusing in the desert games.
Was it a worthy addition/amusement?

Should we extend this to other battle days of various rule sets?
ie. trivial addition that requires a bit of effort?

This might be a flag, figure, scenery piece.

Why not? You've done it for AK47 already and now PBI desert. You could link it with collectible figures. Produce a special general (or similar) a couple of months before an event and award VP for the painted version on the table.

It would be something "special" but easy to achieve with a little effort.
I can produce a collectible figure which folk can get with their order and paint up.
To make it special and interesting it would need to be something players do not already have.

How about a  witch doctor?
