I've been looking, but I can't seem to find the near-legendary PP "men being rude" pack anymore?

Has it been censored  ;D

Are they from the old renaissance range? What headgear do they have?
I vaguely remember them. There was a chap biting his thumb a  la Romeo and Juliet.

They are not from the old Renaissance range. I had a pack of those that now feature in my Italian pike blocks. These ones look earlier medieval.

They have almost Norman-style early medieval helmets. There's the Mooner, the guy doing the thumb-biting and a third "giving it the finger" (which is what made me expect to find them in the WotR range.

Can't see them anywhere on the site though

Yes, they are the old Italian wars range figures.
The biting of the thumb I specifically got from Romeo and Juliet as it is period specific.

My mistake. The mooner is from the now defunct Renaissance Italy range. Somehow he has been mixed in with some feudal figures I do not recognise. The Renaisance range was sold on, but when I tried to track it down I could not find it. I don't think the buyer ever produced the figures.

martin goddard

That is usually the way when ranges are sold on.
The buyer has dreams of being a manufacturer but does not understand about fulfilling orders and running machinery. Mostly a "sounded a great idea at the time" mistake.

The moral might be to get the complete army when the chance is there.
All the above will be "solved" when all ranges are 3D printed (?)

I subscribe to that one, Martin - get them while they're still hot!  ;)

Unfortunately, backin the day family finances had to be taken into account. Maybe the wargaming industry is enjoying a golden period now that so many gamers are older, or retired with more flexibility to their spending power.
