I was wandering around the Toy section of Sainsbury's yesterday and found a
Matchbox Sky Buster MBX Bubble Copter. It's as good a model for a basic Helicopter scale wish you are going to find? But is brilliant for AK 47.
With PP gunner hanging out one side should do the job brilliantly?
To do that you will have to cut the Door out ? So I am going to pull mine apart stick in a seated driver figure as well and paint it up.
I paid £7 for it, I ve seen it for upto £15 on eBay?

That is an excellent find Miles.
Folk better grab them ASAP.

I think with a good paint job you wouldn't know it's too much a toy ?
A lot more sturdier than the Heller kit anyway ?

Just looking thru EBay and come across this ? I just bought a Cessna, I also like the look of the bi-plane theat is in Indiana jones ?

Here is the Cessna with Floats ?
Not too sure if that's an issue or not ?

Here are some reference pictures for the plane ?
With and without floats ! Also a nice loading door to hang an MMG out of ?

Do the Skybusters have a specific scale

Because I notice they do a Hind that might be useful as a support for my  modernish  10mm soviets

No, they are designed to fit a standard size of blister pack. I've not seem the Hind recently, so I can't give you opinion on size or suitability.

Best wishes,

That Cessna works fine Miles.
The floats are a good idea. Gets discussion going.
It gives observers the chance to point it out.
