Action Points Question and a Clarification

Started playing B&I at our local centre. Looking at the rule regarding AP is it 3 squares per platoon that can be motivated or is it 3 squares per company?

Also are the examples for the Legion and Moroccans erroneous as they seem to have 3 platoons yet they are classed as veteran so shouldn't they have just two?

3 squares per platoon can be motivated per turn. 3 per company would be a very static game.
You are right about the Legion and Moroccan examples. They should be 2 platoons each for veterans. Moroccans can be fielded as average if you like and then they 3 platoons.
