D Day game

I know a gang of the faithful have played a large game of PBI recreating a beach landing on D Day (Sword Beach?)

I am wondering how to play a regular game of PBI as a beach landing? How might one go about it? I've found one or two scenarios for other rules, but they tend to be larger scale games where 8 figures represent a company such as Rapid Fire.

Any thoughts? I'd like to play a game on the 6th if possible.
