I bought some shield transfers for my Hoplites.
They are the sticky back type.
This means they need to be cut out stuck onto the shield and then water applied to release them from the backing paper. The problem I found is that once contact is made the decal cannot be moved. First contact is final contact. Also the decal orientation cannot be seen though the backing paper.

The decals themselves are of very high print quality.
With a good coat of gloss varnish they are secure on the figures.
I will post pictures.

Sounds very much like the ones I had for my Carthaginians Martin. I found if they were VERY wet when applied they still could be moved. Also on the backing mark where the top is BEFORE applying them.

Think I still have some with upside down shields. Ah well, maybe they dressed in a hurry!.
