A former member (now moved) but I can confirm the club is still going strong. It meets on Wednesdays and a number of Peter Pig games, old and new, are familiar to the membership.

The Facebook Group is fairly active.

Thank you Dex looks like you have been doing your research, which is good. If we can find several different places in that Midlands Triangle, it helps on having the game days on days we want rather than the days they give us.

Dex is "Mr Busy". "Thank you Dex". Leighton Buzzard was the original home of Warrior miniatures. Maybe the locals remember them??

I have many Warrior figures. Some are quite nice, others less so. I think the best are the 15mm ACW figures which go well with the excellent PP ones. I haven't used them for a while but, despite their antiquated ordering system, their customer service was very quick and efficient (like PP).

Hi Dex, I hope things are working out wargame wise in Sheffield.

Well I've been a Leighton Buzzarder for only 40 years so don't remember Warrior being in the town before they moved to Glasgow. I asked some older members who say they didn't interact with the club and didn't like home visits, they were teenagers at the time. Their designer lived in Bletchley.

On the subject of Leighton Buzzard what I really want to know having read Harry Pearsons book 'Achtung Schweinehund!', Who was the washing machine salesman from the town who had the role of Napoleon in the massive Borodino game he describes. No one at the club has any recollection. :(

We can come up with some good puns about a washing machine saleman surely Martyn?

Cheers Martyn. All good thanks. I've been getting a good variety of games in. However I am missing the cocktails in Ollie Vees!
