Thanks for the warm welcome today folks. Grand to meet you all. I'd love to do it again sometime.

Sean Clark

Thanks to John for being the main man.

I thoroughly enjoyed both of my games though I find I'm setting new records for my loses.

Dex's AK table was stunning and a joy to play on. Thoroughly enjoyed my game and despite my heavy loss I think I got a propaganda victory by reporting news of a victory first 😂

I finally got to play Conquerors and Kings and despite being given Alexander's finest troops I still managed to get thrashed by some hairy barbarian types. All I can say is Alexander can't have use the blue Piggie dice when he conquered half of the world.

Lovely to see the chaps again. My ill  health has kept me from visits south this year. But things are slowly improving and I'm hoping to be at the Weekender.

Delighted you were able to make it to the big day, Sean, and to hear that your luck with the dice has remained consistent.

Hoping to see you next month in Weymouth!

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday. A special thanks to those who made long journeys to put games on. It was great to see  an oasis of PP games in a sea of sci-fi and fantasy.

It was Julian Bonny's vision to organise a regular Peter Pig meet up in the North. The events guy at EG told me that they are taking bookings for well into next year. If anyone wants to organise another one EG can be contacted via their website.

Thanks again.

Thank you all that put on and contributed to the day.
Yes we were surrounded by 40K, Star Wars and another Sci-fi/fantasy type game.
But we flew the flag for "Historical" and 15mm gaming ! (Even though I played 1/600th)
It was nice to see Sean, my Blue-Pink dice and the Macedonians won twice that weekend.
Thank you to the 2 who played Hammerin Iron, even though I Blew the Virginia out the water with the dreaded double 6 ? I "won" both games showing the system off.
(Must play more games up North? I had 100% record which is unheard of down here ! )
Even though it turned out to be an approximate 600 mile round trip for myself, I am happy to go again !

Hello,
I would like to add my thanks to the chorus above. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and the games on display.
I'm happy to support any future events within my travel limits.

Best wishes,

I'm a bit late in doing so but just wanted to add my thanks to everyone who was involved in organising the day and running games. Had a great time and would be very happy to attend more in the future!

To add my belated thanks - what a smashing day, really enjoyed and appreciate the hard work put in gents. Thanks especially to Martin(B) for co-hosting a fun game of AK47R, and also to Martin(G) for the kind thought to share the pirate rules.

All the best
Jimmy
