Looking forward to seeing the new wheeled stuff for the SCW.

Thank you Les

There should be an announcement this week???  Proabably two vehicles this week and two in two weeks.  An doing Dave's Australian infantry conversions this week.

Leslie BT

Well doing the Australians will fill the gaps in the schedules while you wait for the resin putty to cure.

I'll have to get an order off to Nigel when to announce them and get them posted in the catalogue.

Have you seen the 'Pirate era' flags from Spain on TMP?

Batko

Ah, new vehicles? I rather look forward to this!

Like the pictures on the web site, but could not find the number so as to add them to the shopping cart! Or is it 70, 71, 72?

Colonel Kilgore

That's Martin just teasing us again...

That new armoured lorry picture on the front page must be Martin teasing us all again...

Checked out the videos, a good simple way to explain the elements of the game.

But I never spotted the armoured truck in any of them!!  Must have been well hidden in the woods!

Sean Clark

I've just picked up some of the old SDD armoured cars and trucks from eBay. The Piggie models are nicer and I'll be getting at least one of each.

I hope to get 4 models out for the SCW range.
That will hen do for a while because other things like Vietnam need starting!
1. A big bus conversion. Called the naval somua (naval is te company not the arm of service). Basically a single decker bus with a little Mg turret at the back.
2. Hispano suiza armoured car 36. Looks like a traditional armoured car but very low slung. Bigger MG turret
3. Constructor. Looks like a long jelly mould armoured truck. Nice curves all over. Popuar in pictures of SCW trucks. Small Mg turret.
4. Anarchist truck. looks like a securicor truck with an MG turret on top. Boxy and boxy.

Each one is a single piece resin block with metal turret.
This method of making will help keep the prices down. £4.50/£5/£6 for the three sizes.
If they had separate wheels etc the price would rise by £1.60 per model.  they are intended for players of Spanish Civil War rather than non-players.

Will get some pictures up later this week when the turrets are built.

Truck type C is suitable for the ACW?

Is this one to run on rails?

martin goddard

Thanks Les. Corrected!!  Maybe only late war Union armies??

Sean Clark

Excellent Martin thank you. The two you had on display at Colours were marvellous.

I have a set of these now, lovely models especially when the bases are sanded away (none of my other vehicles are based, leaving these on their bases would make them look a bit odd)
