These are pictures from the RCW game we played at the club in early December. 2 v 2, I was on the side of the whites. Early on it looked like we might have crushed the Bolshevik cause with hard fighting on our left flank towards the objectives. Unfortunately, I was in control of our right flank and I left the rough hill objective rather poorly guarded. This wasn't helped by a reckless charge by my Cossacks against infantry supported by machine guns. The noble cavalry fled leaving my flank in the air and making it a simple task for the reds to walk up the hill and sit there  unchallenged.

A wonderful game, full of all of the usual daring attacks, swings of fortune and tactical ineptitude - pretty much like the real thing really! I've tried to adopt Anatoli's advice regarding photographs, but I'm afraid they are a pale imitation of his own work.

Nice photos Sean. Sounds like a good game, but you must expect cossacks to be reckless.

All excellent Sean.
Two a side is usually a much more interesting game.

The Putilov armoured car always sets the scene by its lumbering persona.

There are some nice photos there, Sean.

I'd say that the Anatoli Technique is working well!

Terrific pictures !!
A pleasure for the eyes !
You bring us deep in the battle... Scenery and figures are really nice.
We can "feel" the movement in some of the pictures...
Superb work. Really.

Cheers,
